1What is the German A1 course fee / price in Sri Lanka?

2Do you offer German classes for A/L students?

Yes. We have a dedicated A/L German programme that follows the Sri Lankan Department of Examinations syllabus. Classes cover grammar, writing, reading comprehension and speaking components tested in the A/L German paper. Many of our A/L students achieve distinctions.

3Do you offer German classes for O/L students?

Yes. Our O/L German programme is designed for Grade 10 and Grade 11 students. We cover all topics in the national O/L German syllabus with targeted exam practice including reading comprehension, grammar exercises and composition writing.

4Who teaches German at Speak Global Academy?

German is taught by Nipunika Herath, who holds a BA(Hons) in German Language from the University of Sabaragamuwa, Sri Lanka. She is also the Director of Speak Global Academy and has helped hundreds of Sri Lankan students achieve their language goals.

5Do I need prior German knowledge to join A1?

No. The A1 course is designed for absolute beginners — no prior knowledge required. We start from the alphabet and basic pronunciation.

6What certificate will I receive after completing B1?

You will receive a Speak Global Academy completion certificate and will be fully prepared to sit internationally recognised exams: Goethe-Institut B1, ÖSD B1 or TELC B1 — accepted for German visa applications.

7Can I take German classes online from anywhere in Sri Lanka?

Yes. We offer live online sessions via Zoom in addition to in-person classes at our Kurunegala centre. Students from Colombo, Kandy, Galle and all other cities in Sri Lanka join our online batches.

8How long until I reach B1 from zero?

On our standard track (A1 → A2 → B1) you will reach B1 in approximately 12 months, studying 2–3 sessions per week. A1: 3 months · A2: 4 months · B1: 5 months.
